Algebric Form and Thier Operation

Key word:
Term = Suku
Like term = Suku sejenis
Unlike term = Suku tidak sejenis
Variable = Perubah atau pengganti
Coefficient = angka yang di ikuti variable (angka yang ada di depan huruf)
Constract = bilangan yang tidak ada variable atau bilangan tetap

Addition :
Example : In refrigerator have 3 bananas + 2 oranges + 5 apples
Suppose = bananas : b
= orange : o
= apple : a
So, 3b + 2o + 5a

Definition of Algebric Expressions
3 x a = a + a + a = 3a
5y + 3 = two term (binominal)



5 is a coefficient
Y is a variable
3 is a constant

2a + 3b – 2c
Ex: Determine the coefficient of x and the number of term ineach of the following algebric expressions.
2x^2 – x + 6 = three
Coefficient of x is 1 and the number of term = three terms (trinominal)

Definiton of Like and Unlike Terms
Ex: Find out like terms of 2p^2 – 5p - 6p^2 + 4pq – 8p
The answer: The like terms in 2p^2 - 5p - 6p^2 + 4pq – 8p
